The Fortuner is a body-on-frame truck: better off-road, worse on a long tarmac drive, and only seven seats. The Kia Sportage is far cheaper and mechanically related to Hyundai, but two rows only. The Hyundai Santa Fe is the smaller sibling, and shows a mechanical fault on 33% of cars against the 26% expected for Saudi SUVs of similar age and mileage.
