Our closed Saudi sales show a 2024 Hyundai Kona at about SAR 66,000, a 2023 at SAR 64,000, a 2022 at SAR 51,000, a 2021 at SAR 49,000 and a 2019 at SAR 38,000. The step between 2022 and 2023 is the biggest on that ladder. Listings run from SAR 46,500 to SAR 46,500.

2021 to 2023. The Kona launched here in 2018 with the split-headlight nose and was facelifted around 2021, gaining the tidier face and better screens; the second-generation car from 2024 grew substantially. A facelifted first-generation Kona is the most car for the money.

Above its segment — about 58% of its value after five years, against roughly 52% for SUVs of the same age and mileage. The Haval Jolion beats it at 65%, so if the last riyal at sale time is the deciding factor, look there first.
