We have 2 services: Safe Switch: We inspect and photograph your car to list your car on our website and app, handle all negotiations, and assist with financing and transfer of ownership once we find a buyer. Self Switch: You create, list and manage your car ad on our platform

If I choose Safe Switch, when and where can you inspect my car?

For Safe Switch cars, we usually schedule an inspection within 1-2 days. Our specialist can come to your home or workplace at a time convenient for you, typically between 9 AM and 6 PM.

Do you handle negotiations and viewings?

For Safe Switch cars, we handle all calls and negotiations on your behalf. If there's a serious buyer, we'll arrange a viewing at a time convenient for you. Our agent will be present to assist with the process.

Is my personal information displayed in the listing?

Your number will be available for buyers to contact if you have a Self Switch ad. If you choose a Safe Switch ad, we don't display your name, number, or address on the listing. We handle all communications with potential buyers.

What's the duration of the listing and can I cancel it?

The listing is typically for 3 months. You can cancel at any time if you sell the car yourself or change your mind. Just remove the ad from your seller portal.

If I choose Safe Switch, what's included in the inspection and how long does it take?

For Safe Switch cars, the inspection covers a test drive to examine the body, gearbox, engine, and computer diagnostics. We also take professional photos and a 360-degree video. It usually takes about 30-40 minutes.

How do you determine the price for my car?

We use several data sources, including recent sales, offers made and live listings on the internet. We aim to provide the maximum price possible for you based on what buyers are offering.

How long does it typically take to sell a car through your service?

70% of our cars sell within 2-4 weeks. This is highly dependent on the car's condition and your asking price.

How and when do I receive payment for my car?

The buyer pays you directly. If you have a Safe Switch car, we assist with the transfer process and only take our commission after the sale is completed.

If you like the car, you can pay a deposit to reserve the car till you gather the money to buy it. We will help you out with the paperwork required to transfer ownership of the car.

How do I transfer ownership of my car in KSA?

There are 2 ways to transfer ownership of your used car in KSA. The first one is from the comfort of your home. All you need to do is provide us with your vehicle registration licence (Istimara), Copy of ID or residence permit (Iqama), and ensure motor vehicle periodic inspection report (Fahas) is valid. The buyer must provide us with a copy of ID or residence permit (Iqama), and ensure that they bought valid insurance under their name. The buyer will also have to pay a fee for vehicle ownership transfer. Yourself and the buyer will receive an SMS through the Absher platform after the documents have been verified at which time, the buyer will be able to send payment for the car through the platform. The second method is attending in person at one of our partner showrooms. Here, you and the buyer will be present along with our sales agent. The documents required are the same as the ones mentioned above. The showroom representative will assist you with uploading all the documents, and once they have been verified, the buyer will be able to send payment for the car through the platform along with the fee for vehicle ownership transfer.
