How much does the Mercedes G-Class cost in Saudi Arabia?
Two versions of the same shape, priced a long way apart: SAR 880,000 for the G 500 and SAR 1,271,522 for the G 63 AMG. Both use a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and the same body, chassis and off-road hardware, so the difference between them is engine tune, brakes, wheels and badging.
Which G-Class trim is the one to buy?
The G 500 is the better car for the Kingdom. It has the same presence, the same 5 seats and the same 667-litre boot, rides more comfortably on standard suspension, and its softer tyres cope with rough ground far better than the AMG's. The G 63 is quicker and louder, which matters if the car is a statement rather than a tool.
Mercedes G-Class or Land Rover Defender?
