If budget allows, the G42 coupe from 2021 onward is the better car: wider track, updated interior, and a cleaner four-cylinder turbo than the outgoing F22. An F22-generation 230 from 2017 to 2021 is the cheaper route into the same recipe if the newer car is out of reach.
