About Lexus RC-Series

Lexus's rear-drive coupe has been in production since 2014 and was reworked substantially in 2018, with new lights, a revised front end and retuned suspension. What sets the RC apart in the Kingdom is the spread within a single badge: the entry car and the flagship are separated by two engines and a very large sum of money.

Coupes fall in value faster than saloons, so compare the used RC listings with the new range and read the inspection report first.

How much does the Lexus RC cost in Saudi Arabia?

Three specifications with an unusually wide gap. SAR 264,500 buys the EF and SAR 535,900 buys the RC F F-Performance. The first two are the V6 RC350, separated only by equipment; the top car is the RC F, with a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 and a completely different chassis specification.

Which Lexus RC is the one to buy?

The V6, for almost everyone. It has the shape, the cabin and the rear-drive balance that give the RC its appeal, and it is far cheaper to buy, fuel and insure. Between the two V6 trims the difference is equipment rather than pace. The RC F is a proper performance car with the tyre and brake bills to prove it, and should be bought as one.

Lexus RC or Lexus IS?

The RC if the shape is the point. It shares much of its engineering with the compact Lexus saloon but looks considerably more dramatic and feels more special from behind the wheel. The IS is the rational version: rear doors, a usable back seat and a bigger boot for similar money. At this level buyers also cross-shop the BMW 4 Series and the Ford Mustang.

What does a Lexus RC cost to run in Saudi Arabia?

Straightforward on the V6 and expensive on the V8. The 3.5-litre engine is naturally aspirated, long-serving and happy on standard fuel, with no turbochargers to age; the 5.0-litre car changes the arithmetic on fuel, tyres and brakes entirely.
