Asking prices across our Kingdom listings run from SAR 50,000 for a late-2010s car up to SAR 145,000 for a current-year one. The spread is wide because trim matters as much as age here: a base Cooper and a fully specified one of the same year are different cars.

The real comparison is inside the range. The Clubman is the Cooper with rear doors and a boot, costs less used and keeps more of its value — the pragmatic pick. The Mini Countryman is the SUV-shaped one, dearer and the only Mini that works as a family car. The Cooper is the sharpest to drive; buy it if the car is for you, not the household.

2019 to 2022, all facelifted third-generation cars. That generation launched in 2014 and was updated for 2018 with new lighting, a revised gearbox and better infotainment, then ran until the mid-2020s. Buying from 2019 puts you past the generation's early cars.

In line with the class — about 48% of its value after five years, matching the segment in the Kingdom and sitting a little below the 52% across used Minis. The Mini Clubman is stronger at about 55%.
