To estimate the price of the 2016 Hyundai Sonata I4 2.0L Smart (Mid), I first considered the selling prices of similar cars. The 2017 Sonata with a 2.4L engine and similar trim sold for 31000 SAR recently, which is a good reference point. The 2015 models with a 2.4L engine and higher trim sold for 40000 SAR and 44000 SAR, but these have a different engine and trim, so they are less directly comparable. The 2018 model with a 2.4L engine and similar trim sold for 51500 SAR, but it is newer and in better condition. Next, I looked at the listed prices of similar 2016 models. A 2016 Sonata with a 2.0L engine and similar trim was listed for 37000 SAR, but this was delisted in June, suggesting it might have been priced high. Another 2016 model with a 2.4L engine was listed for 33500 SAR, and another for 38000 SAR, both delisted in March. Considering the selling prices and the listed prices, I adjusted for the 2.0L engine and the average condition of the car in question. The selling price of the 2017 model at 31000 SAR is a strong indicator, and the listed prices suggest a range slightly higher. Therefore, I estimate the market price to be slightly below the average of these figures.
