Mechanically there is very little to fail: no engine, gearbox, exhaust or timing belt, and brakes that last far longer because the motor does most of the slowing. That moves the inspection onto three things — battery condition, which means asking what range the car charges to now against the original; tyre wear, because weight and instant torque get through rubber quickly; and heat management, checked on a long run rather than a short one.
