About SAR 46,000 buys a 2021 or 2022 Toyota Corolla, going by what we have actually sold. A 2023 averages SAR 52,000, a 2024 SAR 59,000, and a 2018 around SAR 37,000. Asking prices across our current Kingdom listings run from SAR 30,000 to SAR 94,300.

2021 to 2023 is the sweet spot. The current-generation Corolla arrived for the 2020 model year on a new platform, with a stiffer body and a far better cabin than the 2014 to 2019 car, so 2020 is the line to be on the right side of. It was freshened again for 2023.

It is one of the strongest in the Kingdom — CarSwitch transaction data puts a Saudi Toyota Corolla at about 64% of its value after five years, against roughly 56% for comparable sedans of the same age. The Nissan Sunny edges it at about 68%, but the Corolla wins on choice and running costs.
