Start inside the range. The Jetour Dashing is the cheaper, sharper-looking five-seater — take it if the third row is decoration. The Jetour T1 is dearer, boxier and more off-road-flavoured. The Plus is the family choice of the three, with the most usable third row. Against the establishment, the Kia Sportage is the honest counter-argument: cheaper, five seats, and a warranty and dealer network that need no explaining.

2024, if the budget stretches. The Plus has been sold here in one generation with the 1.5-litre turbo, so the year buys condition, mileage and warranty rather than a different car — and on a model this new, remaining factory cover is the most valuable item on the paperwork. A 2023 makes sense when its service history is complete.
