In Saudi Arabia Jeep sells on genuine capability. Where most SUVs here never leave tarmac, these get taken into sand and up gravel tracks, which changes what you inspect and what a good example is worth. We have 67 used Jeeps listed across the Kingdom.

How much does a used Jeep cost in Saudi Arabia?

Prices on our Kingdom listings run from SAR 19000 for an early-2010s car to SAR 220900 for a current-year one. Compared at one age the ranking is not the obvious one: among 2021 cars a Compass sold at SAR 46,000, a Grand Cherokee at SAR 84,000 and a Wrangler at SAR 116,000 — the rugged one above the bigger, plusher one. By 2023 cars they met, a Grand Cherokee at SAR 139,000 against a Wrangler at SAR 135,000. Note too that the Grand Cherokee's current generation added a longer three-row body, which is new ground for the nameplate.

Are used Jeeps reliable?

Straighter bodies than the class, and a mechanical bill to watch. Across nearly 1,400 Jeeps we have inspected in the Kingdom, at a median of 117,000 km, 38% carried evidence of prior body or panel repair against the 50% we would expect for SUVs of the same age and mileage here. The drivetrain is the other side of it: 23% had a fault in the engine, gearbox, suspension or steering, against the 19% expected for that class. Hard use is the reason, not a design weakness — an off-road car wears axles, bushes and cooling harder than a commuter does. Do Jeeps hold their value?

Jeeps average about 48% of their value after five years across the models we can measure, which is competitive for the segment in the Kingdom, and demand for the Wrangler is what pulls it up.

Which used Jeep should you buy?

The Grand Cherokee is the one for most families — quick, comfortable, and available across the widest range of ages on our inventory. Take the Wrangler for the axles, the clearance and the removable roof, accepting a noisier highway drive. The Compass is the low-cost city option and the Cherokee the middle ground.

What to check on a used Jeep

Underside, skid plates and differentials for sand ingress and impact.
