The ES is Exeed's electrified saloon in Saudi Arabia — 4.94 metres long, rear-wheel drive and sold only as a range-extender, which means it drives on electricity while a small petrol engine works as a generator. It is the most technically unusual car the brand sells here.
Ask about the battery warranty specifically before you sign — on an electrified car that one term is worth more than the rest of the equipment list. Ask it of the used ES listings as well.
How much does the Exeed ES cost in Saudi Arabia?
Two 2026 versions, SAR 159,466 for the Reev Comfort PHEV (Base) and SAR 195,766 for the Reev Luxury PHEV (Top), with an unusually wide gap between them for a pair of cars sharing one drivetrain. Everything in that difference is equipment and cabin technology, so the entry car is the complete vehicle rather than a stripped one.
Which ES is the one to buy?
The Comfort. Both versions carry the same 1.5 L generator engine and the same Automatic drive, so the money above it buys screens, materials and assistance systems on a car that is already quiet and well equipped. On a young badge, that added specification is the part the second owner will not repay.
Do you have to charge an Exeed ES?
No. The petrol engine tops the battery up as you drive, so the car refuels at any pump and a long journey needs no planning at all. What charging at home changes is the cost per kilometre on short daily trips, which is where this drivetrain earns its keep. Treat a charger as a way to save money rather than a condition of owning the car.
Exeed ES or Exeed RX?
The ES is the quieter, cheaper-to-run and more advanced of the two, and the right choice if most of your driving is predictable and local. The RX is the conventional turbocharged SUV for less money, with no charging question and a higher driving position, while the VX is the choice if seven seats are the requirement.
Does the Exeed ES hold its value, and what should you watch for as it ages?
Slightly ahead of its class: about 72% after three years and 58% after five, where Chinese brands here average nearer 67% and 52%. The range-extender drivetrain helps, because a used buyer who is nervous about a pure electric car still sees a petrol engine on the spec sheet. On an older one the questions are whether the battery has been cycled regularly rather than left flat, and whether the engine's oil changes are documented.
