A used Jeep Wrangler is the shortest route in Saudi Arabia to something that will climb a dune and then be driven home. Nothing at the price substitutes for it, which is why what the previous owner did matters more than the plate. We list 23 Kingdom-wide.
How much does a used Jeep Wrangler cost in Saudi Arabia?
Our closed Saudi sales step down cleanly: SAR 135,000 for a 2023 Jeep Wrangler, SAR 121,000 for a 2020, SAR 104,000 for a 2019, SAR 91,000 for a 2018 and SAR 80,000 for a 2017. A used one comes in about 34% below a new Wrangler. Kingdom listings ask from SAR 63000 to SAR 197700.
Which used Jeep Wrangler year should you buy?
2018 onwards, if the road matters at all. The JL arrived for 2018 and transformed the Wrangler on tarmac — quieter, better steering, a real dashboard — without giving up the axles or the roof. It also brought the 2.0-litre turbocharged four alongside the V6: the four is the commoner and more economical engine here, the V6 the easier one if the car is worked hard. Below 2018 is a JK — cheaper, cruder, right if it is headed for a lift kit.
Is a used Jeep Wrangler reliable?
The bodywork is the cleanest in its class by a wide margin: 23% of the Wranglers we inspect in Saudi Arabia show evidence of previous body or panel repair, against the 47% we would expect for SUVs of the same age and mileage in the Kingdom. The Ford Bronco, built for the same job, sits at 17% against 34% expected for its own band. Median mileage here is around 100,000 km, and on an off-roader that tells you less than the underbody does.
Jeep Wrangler or Nissan Patrol Safari?
The Nissan Patrol Safari costs similar money, is simpler to fix far from a city and shows previous panel work on 15% of cars against 42% expected for its band. If bare capability is the priority, take it. The Toyota Sequoia is cheaper and far more comfortable, but it is a road car with four-wheel drive. The Wrangler's case is the roof, the aftermarket, and going where these cannot.
