In Saudi Arabia the Audi Q3 is the compact alternative to the full-size SUVs most buyers here default to: easier to park, cheaper to fuel, premium inside.
What to check on a used Audi Q3
These are young cars, so the CarSwitch report is mostly confirming that a low odometer and a clean service book belong to the same Q3.
A 2024 Audi Q3 averaged SAR 116,000 in our closed Saudi sales, which sets the ceiling for a nearly new one. Early-2020s cars are the value end of the listings, from SAR 74,999 to SAR 113,500.
Nothing structural recurs, and these come in young at a median of about 46,000 km. The one repeat item is tyres: 10% arrive mismatched or damaged, against the 3% we would expect for SUVs of the same age and mileage in the Kingdom, which is what low-profile rubber does on city kerbs. Price a set into your offer and move on.
The Lexus RX350 costs considerably more but keeps 54% after five years and shows body or panel repair on 34% of inspections against an expected 44% — the sensible-money choice. The Chevrolet Tahoe is similar money and vastly bigger, at 46% retained. For an Audi with real pace, the Audi SQ5 sits above the Q3 in the range.
Every Q3 in stock here is from the second generation, launched around 2019 and a size larger than the 2011-to-2018 original, so the model year buys kit and mileage rather than a better car. Pick on options and condition — 2021 to 2023 is where the digital cabin and the more usable back seat are standard.
A little below its class — around 39% of its value after five years, against roughly 44% for SUVs here and 42% across Audi. That gap is precisely why the used car is the better buy than the new one.
