I started by looking at the selling prices of similar cars. A 2018 Equinox LT (Mid) with 228,000 km sold for 32,000 SAR in January 2024. Another 2018 Equinox LS (Base) with 142,000 km sold for 44,000 SAR in June 2023. The target car is a 2020 model with 90,000 km, so it should be valued higher than these 2018 models. Next, I considered the listed prices. A 2021 Equinox LT (Mid) with 93,000 km was listed for 45,000 SAR, and a 2020 Equinox LT (Mid) with 30,000 km was listed for 72,500 SAR. The target car has higher mileage than the 2020 listed car but is newer than the 2018 sold cars. Considering depreciation and mileage, I estimated the market price to be between the 2018 sold prices and the 2020 listed price, closer to the lower end due to mileage and condition.
