The Changan CS35 is a small, low-cost crossover — the compact SUV Changan sold in the Kingdom before the CS35 Plus, and it competes on price rather than polish. Asking prices across our Saudi listings run from SAR 24500 to SAR 24500.

How much does a used Changan CS35 cost in Saudi Arabia?

In our closed Saudi sales a 2021 Changan CS35 averaged SAR 23,000, a 2022 SAR 33,000 and a 2023 SAR 45,000. The climb across those years is steep, so the older cars are where the value is — by then you are buying condition rather than a model year.

Which used Changan CS35 year should you buy?

Aim at 2020 to 2022. The CS35 kept one body and one engine throughout its run, with the CS35 Plus sold alongside as the larger alternative rather than a replacement — so the model year buys condition, not engineering. What it can buy is warranty: a 2021 or 2022 car may still have factory cover.

Is a used Changan CS35 reliable in Saudi Arabia?

Read the report before the price tempts you. 65% of the Changan CS35s we inspect in Saudi Arabia show evidence of prior body or panel repair, against the 40% we would expect for small SUVs of the same age and mileage in the Kingdom, and 24% show a mechanical fault in the engine, gearbox, suspension or steering where 11% is the expectation for that class. That second figure is a budget-crossover pattern rather than a Changan one — the Chevrolet Captiva records the same 24% against a 10% expectation for its own class. A further 13% arrive with an electrical or electronics fault. That does not make the CS35 a bad buy; it makes the individual car's inspection the decision.

Changan CS35 or MG ZS?
