The Changan CS95 is the brand's full-size seven-seater, and in Saudi Arabia it undercuts every Japanese three-row SUV by a wide margin. Space for the money is the entire pitch. We have 14 used CS95s listed.
What to look over on a used Changan CS95
Get the electrical and suspension pages of the report open before you offer on any CS95.
Our closed Saudi sales put a 2019 Changan CS95 at about SAR 33,000, a 2021 at SAR 47,000, a 2022 at SAR 54,000 and a 2025 at SAR 91,000. A 2021 or 2022 example is the value end of that ladder. Live asking prices span roughly SAR 29,400 for a 2019 up to SAR 99,000 for a 2026.
The bodywork is better than its class and the electrics are worse. Only 32% of the Changan CS95s we inspect in Saudi Arabia show evidence of prior body or panel repair, against the 47% we would expect for large SUVs of the same age and mileage in the Kingdom. Against that, 16% carry an electrical or electronics fault where 7% is the expectation for that class, and 24% show a mechanical fault in the engine, gearbox, suspension or steering against the 16% we would expect — on cars with a median of about 101,000 km. Test every electronic function and get the suspension on the report before you talk price.
The Toyota Fortuner costs more and earns it, retaining about 65% after five years. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the more capable and comfortable car, cleaner on body history at 40% against 51% expected for large SUVs of the same age and mileage in the Kingdom, but it keeps only around 39%. The CS95 gives you three genuine rows for the least money.
2021 to 2023 is the band to shop. The CS95 was facelifted at the turn of the decade with a new grille, a redesigned dashboard and updated driver aids, so that is the line to be on the right side of; the engine and gearbox carried over unchanged.
Closer to the mainstream than the price suggests: about 47% of its value after five years, against 51% for large SUVs in the Kingdom.
