Any of them, since the CX-90 only arrived for the 2024 model year and has not yet been through a mid-cycle update. The choice that matters is engine: the straight-six petrol against the plug-in hybrid, which changes both running costs and how the car drives.

The Toyota Fortuner is cheaper to buy and easier to get serviced anywhere in the Kingdom. The Hyundai Santa Fe undercuts it on price but our inspections find more mechanical faults than we would expect for SUVs of this age. Inside the Mazda range, the CX-60 is the smaller, cheaper way into the same platform if three rows are not a must.
