The Lexus IS250 is the second-generation IS saloon, a compact rear-wheel-drive Lexus built to compete with the 3 Series and C-Class on refinement rather than outright pace. Its naturally aspirated V6 is simpler and generally easier to live with than the turbocharged engines that later replaced it. In the Kingdom it is bought as an affordable, dealer-serviceable entry point into the Lexus badge.

2009 to 2013, after Lexus's mid-cycle update sharpened the styling and revised the interior, and before the third-generation IS took over. Cars from that window get the more resolved version of this generation without the added complexity of later turbocharged variants.
