SAR 83000 to SAR 85000 buys a genuinely large luxury sedan for well under what any German full-size rival asks at the same age.

Which used Cadillac CT6 year should you buy?

A 2018 or 2019 car is the sensible target, closer to the tail end of production before Cadillac discontinued the nameplate entirely. Condition and service history matter more than chasing the newest year within that window.

Is a used Cadillac CT6 reliable?

Better than the segment average, in fact. Our inspections find evidence of prior body or panel repair on just 25% of CT6s, against the 55% we would expect for full-size luxury sedans of this age here, and mechanical faults on none of the cars we checked against the 22% we would expect for full-size sedans of this age. That is an unusually clean result for a car this size and age, though the smaller ATS sold alongside it shows a very different pattern, with mechanical faults on 62% of cars against the 30% we would expect for the same class of sedan.

Cadillac CT6 or BMW 730?

The BMW 730 costs more and reports electrical faults on just 5% of cars against the 10% we would expect for large luxury sedans, similarly strong. The Mercedes E350 also asks more and shows prior body repair on 24% of cars against the 45% we would expect for the same class, in the same range as the CT6. All three make a reasonable case at very different prices.
