The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLE 200 brings a long-bonnet, two-door silhouette to the Kingdom's premium segment — replacing both the old C-Class Coupé and E-Class Coupé with a single model that offers a more spacious cabin for 5 and a significantly more advanced interior. Prices start from SAR 364,685.
The Coupe and Cabriolet body styles both use the same 2.0 L turbocharged petrol engine producing 201 bhp, mated to a nine-speed Automatic. The Coupe is the sharper daily driver: pillarless frameless windows, full MBUX dual-screen cabin, and a sleeker roofline. The Cabriolet adds the experience of open-air cruising with an insulated fabric roof that stows quickly — available from SAR 394,534. Fuel efficiency is competitive for its class given the engine's output.
Pros: the CLE 200 is one of very few two-door premium coupés that genuinely accommodates rear passengers on longer journeys — a practical advantage over the BMW 4 Series Coupé in everyday use. The MBUX system with its large landscape screen is class-leading in presentation and functionality. Cons: the 200 variant's 201 bhp output feels adequate rather than exciting — buyers wanting stronger acceleration should consider stepping up to the CLE 300 in the Mercedes range. The Cabriolet's rear quarters are noticeably snug compared with the Coupé.
The CLE 200 is a new nameplate in the KSA market, having replaced two discontinued lines, so independent resale data is still forming. Qualitatively, Mercedes two-door models have historically held their value well in the Kingdom relative to the broader premium segment. No used examples are currently listed on CarSwitch.
Buyers cross-shopping the CLE 200 in Saudi Arabia also look closely at the BMW 4 Series, Audi A5, and Genesis G70 — all occupying the same premium four-seat coupé or fastback space, where the CLE competes on interior quality and brand prestige while the Genesis G70 offers a lower entry price.
