The Suzuki Dzire is a Swift with a boot, and in Saudi Arabia it is bought for one reason: nothing else this size costs so little to run. We have 5 used Dzire listed.
What to look over on a used Suzuki Dzire
Compare the panel sections of two Dzires at the same asking price in our Saudi listings — that gap is what you negotiate over.
This is the floor of the Kingdom sedan market. Our Saudi listings run from SAR 33,000 for a car from the early 2020s up to SAR 39,000 for a current-year one, with servicing, tyres and fuel at the bottom of the market too.
Mechanically it is one of the cleanest small cars we see: 4% of the Suzuki Dzires we inspect in Saudi Arabia show a fault in the engine, gearbox, suspension or steering, against the 10% we would expect for sedans of the same age and mileage in the Kingdom. Bodywork is the segment story instead — 52% carry evidence of previous panel or paint repair, against the 38% expected across sedans of that age and mileage here, and the Geely Emgrand runs at 77% against its own 46%. City parking does that to cheap sedans; what matters is whether the work was done properly.
The Toyota Corolla is the honest concession: it costs more, and at about 64% after five years it gives more of that back. The Changan Alsvin asks similar money with more equipment; the Dzire has the wider service network and cleaner mechanicals.
Buy on condition rather than model year. The generation that ran from 2017 changed very little year to year, and a fourth-generation car arrived in late 2024 with a new body and a new engine; 2021 to 2023 is the proven car at the steepest discount.
It comes out ahead of its class — about 59% of its value after five years, against roughly 56% for sedans of the same age and price.
