A 2020 CR-V averaged about SAR 67,000 in our closed Saudi sales, with a 2013 at SAR 25,000 — the decade between them costs roughly the price of the older car twice over. Specification and mileage separate examples of the same year more than the year itself does.

These are still in mid-life at distances that worry buyers of other SUVs. Buy the CR-V for the space and the durability. If you need three rows, the Honda Pilot is the larger Honda.

2017 onward. That model year brought a new platform, a longer wheelbase and a considerably quieter, better-finished cabin; the previous car, built from the start of the 2010s, is durable but plainly older to sit in. The current generation arrived in the early 2020s, larger again and with a hybrid option in some specifications, so confirm which drivetrain a car has before comparing prices.

Below its class, at about 45% of its value after five years against roughly 56% for comparable SUVs of the same age — which is the reason to buy one used rather than new.
