Untested by real distance so far — the cars we see are low-mileage, so the warranty and GAC’s Kingdom dealer network matter more right now than any track record. That is normal for a brand this new here, not a mark against the car.

The Corolla costs more but comes with a Kingdom-wide dealer network the Empow cannot yet match, the practical trade-off for GAC’s pricing. The Elantra is priced closer to the Empow and shows prior body or panel repair above the rate we would expect for the class, narrowing its badge advantage. GAC’s own Emzoom sits below it on price if a smaller footprint suits you.

Given the narrow spread of ages on the market, prioritise the highest trim and longest remaining warranty over holding out for a marginally newer build.

Surprisingly well for a car this new to the Kingdom — around 63% after five years, ahead of the 51% we would expect for a compact sedan of the same age and mileage here, and above the 52% GAC’s own range manages.
