The Hyundai Kona costs similar money and shows evidence of prior body or panel repair on 49% of cars against the 41% we would expect for the class — worse on paper, but backed by a dealer network with years of parts history behind it. The MG ZS, cheaper, posts 44% against an expected 35% and has a longer track record among Chinese-brand buyers here. The Dongfeng Shine remains the cheaper way into the same badge if you do not need the Max's extra size.
