Ask for the DSG gearbox's fluid change history before you settle on a year — it decides how the car has aged more than the registration date does. Within current stock, a documented service record on both the TSI engine and the DSG is worth more than an extra year or two of age.

The Mercedes A200, similar money, shows a slightly higher electrical fault rate than we would expect for its class, 9% against 3%, so the badge does not buy you a cleaner service story.
