2021 to 2023 is the range to target, once Mazda refreshed this generation with a turbo engine option and updated cabin tech. Earlier cars from 2019 to 2020 are still sound, just with the older infotainment setup.

Mazda's own CX-9 costs less and steps up in size if three rows matter more than handling.
